Why The Westin Josun Busan Holds Its Ground After 40 Years
If you ask older Korean travelers about Busan luxury, two names come up first: Westin Chosun (now The Westin Josun) and Paradise. Both have been here since the 1980s. The Westin Josun has weathered every cycle of Haeundae’s evolution, from when this beach was sleepy and undeveloped through the LCT tower era, and it’s still here, still booked, still considered a top 5-star.
The reason is simple: no other 5-star in Haeundae sits this close to the actual sand. The hotel is wedged between Haeundae Beach and Dongbaek Island, with direct beachfront views and a short walking path to the most photographed parts of both. Signiel sits one tower removed (LCT).
