I booked Hotel Sirius Jeju for a one-night work trip, looking for somewhere near the airport with good value. Honestly, the deciding factor was the 10th-floor indoor pool, and after staying, that pool view is what stuck with me most. It sits about a 5-minute drive from Jeju Airport, which makes it ideal for the first or last night of a trip. Here is an honest look at the location, room, pool, gym and breakfast.

Location & access

✈️ Airport ~5 min by car from Jeju International Airport (barely more than the base taxi fare)
🚶 Nuwemaru Street ~2 min walk (restaurants & cafes)
🛍️ Dongmun Market & Tapdong ~10 min by car
The hotel sits not on Jeju’s busy main road but on a quiet side street. It is close enough to the airport that a late-night arrival or early-morning departure is completely painless, which is exactly what you want on a work trip. The building’s facade is said to draw on Jeju’s columnar-joint cliffs (jusangjeolli), and it does look distinctive enough to spot from a distance.
Lobby & atrium

Opened in 2018, the lobby and corridors are clean and well kept, and the soaring open atrium is a nice touch. Floor signage is clear, so you will not get lost on a first visit.
The room (Semi Suite)

I stayed in a Semi Suite. The room is efficiently laid out and the bed is large, so for a solo work trip it felt more than roomy. There is a window nook with a bit of a city view, and I liked the wood flooring, no carpet, which felt clean and fresh. The bedding was cozy and I slept well.

There is a kettle and cups, a mini-bar, Bigelow-type shampoo and body wash, plus a bathrobe and slippers. Amenities are the refillable dispenser type, so bring your own toothbrush and toiletries. Housekeeping came by each morning to tidy up and restock water and towels.
Honest note: it has been a few years since the hotel opened, and some of the fixtures do look a little dated in places. Rather than expecting brand-new-hotel sparkle, think of this as a place you pick for the location, the pool and the value.
Bathroom

The bathroom is spacious and well maintained, with a bidet and basic toiletries provided. One thing to flag: there is no bathtub, only a shower stall. I am a big fan of a long soak, so personally I did miss having a tub. If you feel the same, keep it in mind.
The highlight — 10th-floor indoor pool (what a view)

This is the reason I booked, and it exceeded expectations. The 10th-floor indoor pool runs year-round, and floor-to-ceiling windows open onto Jeju city, the sea and even the airport runway. You can watch planes take off and land while you swim, and the view alone is worth it. It was easily my favorite part of the stay.

Loungers line the windows, and honestly, just sitting there with my phone taking in the scenery was the perfect way to pass the time. I liked it enough to go down twice, once in the morning and once in the evening. There is a separate kids’ pool as well, so plenty of families were around.

At sunset and after dark the mood changes completely and the night swim is lovely. The wide-open morning view and the evening glow each have their own charm.

Gym

There is a gym too, with a treadmill and weights, handy for a light workout on a work trip.
Breakfast (La Luna)

Breakfast is served at La Luna, 07:00–10:00, and the window-side seating makes for a bright start. It is a standard hotel buffet: Korean and Western, with bakery and fruit, banchan, grilled Jeju black pork, porridge and soups, a salad bar and a made-to-order egg station. Nothing especially unique, but perfectly solid for a filling start to the day.
The verdict — who it’s for
✅ Anyone who wants an indoor pool with a view (my top reason)
✅ Families wanting a kids’ pool
✅ Value-seekers after a solid 4-star
⚠️ No bathtub (shower only), and the facilities feel a little dated
For a one-night work stay, the value was genuinely high. The pool view in particular stayed with me, good enough that I used it twice in a single stay. Weighing airport access, the pool and the price together, it is an easy pick for the first or last night of a Jeju trip.
